Weapon: Baseball Bat + 5 Explosive Baseballs
As Rico cannot bring the heavier equipment of his synthesizer, such as the fingerboard, he brings his wind controller and electronic drums with him. His wind controller forms into the baseball bat and his five electronic drums round into the shape of the baseballs. The baseball bat also acts as an equalizer and it indicates audio levels with its green bands. This feature is more for Rico’s preference for slapstick comedy however, as he finds it amusing the levels rise whenever he hits something with his bat.
His baseballs are collapsible; they are hidden in his pockets and he can “activate” them to form a sphere. Rico can also control when they explode. His main strategy is scattering his baseballs around the terrain and then trapping his opponent later on by igniting them later.

Fighting Style: Being a gamer, Rico is incredibly savvy with fighting and considers it a sport almost as great as baseball. (Unless it's a baseball video game, in which case, double the fun!) He's still a bit of a Leeroy Jenkins, however, due to his spontaneous personality and refusal in taking anything seriously. Especially a virtual game based off music.
As such, his strategy changes according to the terrain and opponent. He does not plan ahead and instead, goes with his gut feelings. Rico usually refers to all components of the VRG in gaming terms, much to the chagrin of anyone who is not a gamer.
Rico's most popular and favored method of fighting however, is land mining the terrain with his baseballs and igniting them when the opponent least expects it.

Harder Better Faster Stronger - A standard buff song. Rico hits harder, better, faster, and stronger with his baseball bat. Because it is an all-around buff, the time allotted to use the buff is shorter than most. The effects only last for thirty seconds. This also means that he tires much more quickly, however, so Rico tends to use the song back-to-back to compensate. At the end, Rico is completely exhausted.
Some Chords - A song that "shatters". Rico's power in all of his hits are upped, meaning that he can hit and shatter some parts of the terrain as well. Rico primarily uses it to break up the ground and cause the terrain to collapse, as he finds it inefficient in trying to hit anyone directly with the song. If hit by the song, it is 1.5x more damage. It lasts for a minute.
Bangarang - Rico uses the song to launch his baseballs as projectiles. The baseballs take on highly ballistic qualities as well and they ignite after three bounces. As the song requires at least three baseballs to be used in rapid succession, Rico tries to avoid using this song. There are no added bonuses or effects besides using baseballs as bullets.

Accessories:
Verde the Parakeet Comp
Rico’s trusty laptop bird. He uses Verde as a recorder as well. Verde is installed with a personality chip, just to make everything lively. Oddly enough, Rico and Verde also tend to bicker because of their clashing personalities. However, Rico does adore the robot and he takes great pains in maintaining it.
He is also Rico's mp3 player and is connected wirelessly connected to Rico's headphones.
Be warned, Verde can fly, which causes some mischief.

Personality: Rico is loud, energetic, and excitable. His philosophy is that every day should be a special one, and so he goes to great lengths in making everything fun and enjoyable. A people-oriented person, Rico loves to meet new people and befriend them. Never going a day without a smile, he is cheery and very difficult to depress.
Like a child playing with a new toy, Rico is fascinated and amazed by anything new he encounters. His need for hype and excitement makes him gravitate to activities including a lot of people. Thus he is very interested in sports and likes to go around clubbing.
However, Rico tends to be dim-witted and very gullible. As he believes in the best of people, he tends to forget that some people might not always be truthful with him. Besides his own fields of interest, such as baseball and sound synthesis, he is quite ignorant.
He also has the tendency to smother people with his attention. If he finds anyone he particularly likes, he often bombards him with his presence which is often over-the-top. He doesn't stop until someone tells him to, which causes problems as Rico sometimes lacks the tact to stop himself.

Background: Most of his childhood was spent in his hometown, San Diego. As it is known for its multicultural community, he grew up with a myriad of different kinds of people. This seemed to have given him a positive effect as this made Rico more inclined to meet even more people. His curiosity eventually led him in pursuing the rest of his education in China, his mother’s homeland.
Although previously interested in music, especially guitars and bass, his interest in sound synthesis began while he was in China. Fascinated by the constant technological progress in the Far East, he began to experiment. It came very naturally for him; Rico was initially disinterested in formally learning music, as he perceived it to be a passive hobby. However, he realized that using a full synthesizer, he’d constantly be on the move. This fit his active personality perfectly and Rico went full speed ahead into the world of music.
Eventually, his interest brought him to many other electronic musicians, particularly through the internet. His constant participation online also brought his work some amount of fame within his own niche. Because of this, Rico proudly proclaims, “I’m internet famous!”
His fame didn’t last just fifteen minutes however. Eventually, Rico’s music brought the attention of the previous Electronic Synthesizer. He invited Rico over to New York, but Rico did not think much of it and did not take up the invitation. Rico was seventeen at the time.
After Rico had graduated, he returned back home due to homesickness. However, as per usual, he sought for a change of scenery again and planned on moving somewhere else to pursue his musical interests. Thinking of the invitation he received when he was younger, Rico went over to New York and went on working odd jobs and as a DJ in various clubs. One club he applied to, however, sent him an interesting proposal of a position of an unheard of company. He learned that it was called Conchordia and that his friend, the previous Eletronic Synthesizer, had left his title vacant. He took up the title happily, in hopes of meeting his friend. For now, he has yet to realize the full extents of the purge and that his friend has been long gone.

Extra Notes:
-Rico’s favorite color is green, if this was not evident enough. He dyed his hair green after graduation.
-Rico is very book dumb, and his academic life was not very successful. Hence his choice in not pursuing any higher education.
-He is Spanish-Chinese-American. As his mother’s family had prestige, his father married into his mother’s family.
-Strangely dislikes green apples and considers them “a disgrace to the color green!”
-Has two siblings, a pair of twin brother and sister. Because of this, he is experienced in taking care of children, although this also means he’s easily exploited with appeals of anything cute.
